Sitar maestro Ikhlaq Hussain is an accomplished sitarist with musical
roots in the renowned Delhi Gharana (school) of Hindustani classical
music. Trained by his father, Ustad Imdad Hussain, in Karachi, and later
by the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar in India, Ikhlaq’s expressive
playing has enthralled audiences in India, Pakistan, Europe, the Middle
East and the United States. Ikhlaq's deeply spiritual music is played in
the "Gayaki" style, emulating the human voice and passionately
conveying the human soul's yearning for the divine. In addition to
concert recitals, Ikhlaq Hussain is committed to preserving and
disseminating his rich musical heritage through performances and
teaching of Indian classical music.

Nitin Mitta is one of the most accomplished and distinctive tabla
players of his generation, with a reputation for technical virtuosity,
spontaneity, clarity of tone, and sensitivity to melodic nuances. Nitin
received his early training in Hyderabad from Pandit G. Satyanarayana.
To expand his repertoire of tabla compositions, he sought the guidance
of Pandit Arvind Mulgaonkar of Mumbai, one of the most highly respected
mentors of his generation. Both of Nitin’s gurus are disciples of the
late Ustad Amir Hussain Khan Saheb, legendary doyen of the Farukhabad
Gharana. Apart from being a dynamic soloist, he is a highly sought after
accompanist who has performed with some of India’s most celebrated
Hindustani classical musicians, including Pandit Jasraj, Dr. Prabha
Atre, Pandits Rajan and Sajan Mishra, Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, and
Ustad Shahid Parvez, as well as many Carnatic musicians, such as Lalgudi

A musician her whole life, Camila Celin began playing guitar at age 9.
For the last 5 years she has been intensely studying the Indian Sarod.
In Kolkata she learns from sarod player Sougata Roy Choudhury, and in
New York she learns from sitar maestro Pandit Krishna Bhatt. In 2009 she
was nominated for a Grammy for best world music album in a
collaboration with slide guitar maestro Debashish Bhattacharya and has
been a very active performer in her native Colombia, the US and in
India. She has composed music for several films, theater, as well as
commercials and currently lives between New York and Kolkata, India.
Ehren Hanson has been playing tabla for over 17 years. A disciple of
the great Pandit Anindo Chatterjee, he is an active performer as both a
soloist and an accompanist. His recent review in the "Times of India,"
Kolkata called his solo performance "enthralling."
Together,
the couple has founded the Anindo Chatterjee School of Tabla in New
York, where they host some of the greatest maestros of our time, hosting
classes, workshops, and concerts. Their performance is celebrated for
its intimacy with the deep and fated connection between them felt in
every beat.
